Terms and Conditions

1. How the Services and Service Works

1.1 We are an online catering platform providing you (a) Catering Services online from our own kitchen establishments or a list of restaurants and caterers available on the Services (“Vendors”); (b) the ability to pre-pay for your food order using banking channels made available to you on the Services or by paying with a debit or credit card online.

1.2 Our responsibilities are limited to: (i) facilitating the availability of the Services; and (ii) serving as the limited agent of each Vendor for the purpose of accepting payments from you for your online catering order and delivering your order.


2. Bookings and Financial Terms

2.1 The Services allow you to make catering order bookings and we will, subject to the terms and conditions set out herein, deliver the same to you.

2.2 You understand that any order you place shall be subject to the restrictions and limitations set out in these Terms of Use, including but not limited to product availability and delivery location.

2.3 As a general rule, upon Melaange Foods confirmation, all catering orders made will be treated as confirmed.

2.4 Upon your successful booking, we may contact you to confirm order details and delivery time. You are responsible for providing accurate information (name, mobile number, email).

2.5 We may contact you again for changes in availability or pricing. If we cannot reach you, we may cancel the order, and our cancellation policy will apply.

2.6 Payment can be made via credit/debit card, net banking, or cash/card on delivery.

2.7 We act as the Vendor’s payment agent for accepting payments. You must not pay Vendors directly.

2.8 You agree to pay the total amount shown. We are not liable for bank charges.

2.9 You must provide accurate billing details for payment. Once booked, you will receive a confirmation email.


3. Cancellations and Refunds

3.1 Cancellation

●     Orders cannot be cancelled after confirmation except under special conditions.

●     If an item is unavailable, you may cancel the full order and receive a refund.

●     We may cancel your order if:

          (i) Address is outside the delivery zone

          (ii) We can't reach you

          (iii) Delivery fails due to insufficient details

          (iv) Items are unavailable

          (v) Other reasons beyond our control

3.2 Refunds

●     Refunds apply only to prepaid orders and under the following:

          (i) Package tampered or damaged

          (ii) Address out of delivery zone

          (iii) Unavailability of ordered items

●     Refund decisions are final and at our discretion.

●     Refunds will be processed within 3–4 business days.

3.3 For COD orders, payment is not required for:

●    Tampered or damaged packaging

●    Wrong order

●     Missing items


Terms of Service

4.1 We are not responsible for the quality, expectations, or availability of Vendor-provided goods.

4.2 Menu details and pricing are based on Vendor data and may change without notice.

4.3 Service may not be available outside of designated areas.

4.4 Delivery times are approximate; delays are not our liability.

4.5 Orders will be delivered only to the address entered during booking. Changes may lead to cancellation.

4.6 If you do not provide proper delivery instructions or fail to accept the order, risk transfers to you and no refund will be issued.

4.7 Our responsibility ends after the order is delivered.

4.8 Services provided:

●     We're not liable for payment failures on the Vendor side.

●     No refund/credit if service is not redeemed in time.

●     You're responsible for compliance with Terms of Use.

●     You must use your own credit/debit card; we disclaim all liability for unauthorized use.

4.9 No refunds for goods once sold, unless due to error from our end.

4.10 Errors in service may be corrected by us with further instructions.

4.11 Use of Services is at your own risk.

4.12 Services are available only during Vendor working hours.


5. No Endorsement

5.1 We do not endorse any Vendor. We are not responsible for user identity or interactions.

5.2 Legal remedies must be directed at the party involved, not us.


6. General Terms of Use

6.1 You must be 18+ or have parental consent to use the Services.

6.2 Keep your login credentials secure; we may disable access on misuse.

6.3 We operate in Mumbai and Bangalore. Use outside these zones is at your own risk.

6.4 You are responsible for any use of the Services from your device.

6.5 Internet and device costs are your responsibility.

6.6 You agree to receive promotional SMSs. To opt out, email: melaangefoods@gmail.com

6.7 By using the Services, you confirm that you:

●      Provide accurate and truthful info

●      Will not impersonate others or spread harmful content

●      Have rights to use all shared content

●      Will not access the Services unlawfully


7. Access, Accuracy, and Security

7.1 We aim to keep the style="text-align: lefervices available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or virus-free access.

7.2 We are not responsible for device damage or third-party actions.

7.3 We do not guarantee all information on the platform is accurate or error-free.

7.4 We may suspend Services without notice at any time.


8. Use on Mobile Devices

8.1 - 8.9 Our Services are not affiliated with Apple/Google/etc., and we are solely responsible for support, content, compliance, and any claims. You must comply with third-party mobile terms and ensure legal use of Services through your device and network.


9. Disclaimers

9.1 Features may not always be operational as the Services are under constant upgrade.

9.2 There may be errors, delays, or omissions in the content due to third-party data sources.

9.3 We are not liable for unauthorized card use.

9.4 We are not responsible for third-party services or Vendors.

9.5 We do not guarantee quality or endorse any Services or Vendors.

9.6 All content is provided “as is” without warranty.

9.7 We are not liable for losses due to reliance on Services content.

9.8 We are not liable for direct or indirect damages, including injury, data loss, or business interruption, due to use of Services.
